Mont Tremblant Provincial Park
protects 1492 square kilometres
of Quebec's beautiful Laurentian mountains. An easy 2 hour drive north of
Montreal, you can quickly leave the worries of the city quickly behind
you. If your looking to relax, do some nature observation or if you want a
little adventure you couldn't ask for a better place. With over one
hundred lakes, six rivers and countless mountains the park offers endless
opportunities. The area is divided into three sectors, La Diable in the
west, La Pimbina in the center and L'Assoption in the east. Each has it's
own special flavour and you might want to visit each in turn. The Diable
sector (Lac Monroe) is the most popular, while L'Assomption being furthest
from Montreal, is the least crowded of the three. Do your favourite
outdoor activity: hiking and snowshoeing, horse-back ridding, horse-drawn
sleigh rides, ice climbing, ice fishing, skiing, skating, motorized
vehicles, plane rides, tubing, and wildlife park visits. With its amazing
scenery and ideal conditions, the region of Mont-Tremblant offers you a
magical experience!
